the Hoff says strike a pose

On my way to Germany last weekend, obviously the first thing that came to mind when crossing the border was David Hasselhoff, because, well clearly he still has to be big there, right? I asked a few people about this who were wearing manpris and who i assumed to be Hoff fans. But they discarded my questions fairly quickly. We ended up bonding in the end, by naming great Iron Maiden songs from the Piece of Mind album and arguing over who had better guitar solos-Dave Murray or Adrian Smith. I like Dave's head banging style in general, his strutting leg-on-a-monitor poses, hair, and solos on Number of the Beast and Powerslave. Brilliant really. But Adrian Smith simply blew my mind with his Wasted Years solo back in '87. I think that's all Adrian. I still rock to it and always wondered what it would be like to be in the recording studio, hearing it for the first time. But I digress. The Hoff it appears, has an interesting influence on german culture. Anyway, he's on tour here this year. Drinking partner/gay dance-in-your-chairs friend needed.
